Course
MD Dermatology, Venerology and Leprosy is a three-year post-graduate clinical program offered at Narayana Medical College Nellore. Entrance exam passed MBBS holders from a recognised university can apply for this program. The course creates competent doctors with theoretical knowledge, clinical skills, research skills and teaching skills in dermatology, venerology and leprosy. It deals with initial medical, transitional and surgical aspects of diseases affecting skin, hair, nails and sexually conducted skin diseases. Narayana Medical College is affiliated to Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) Tirupati.Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) syllabus covers theory & practical in Allied Basic Science, Clinical Dermatology,Dermatology, Venereology, Leprosy, Dermato pathology, Dermato surgery (including lasers), general & tropical dermatology including virology, leprosy and their public social health and preventive, dermatology including skin manifestation, recent advances in dermatology, venerology and leprosy.
