Course
The M. Tech Program in the department of Computer Science at the Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology started during the Academic year 2008.The department boasts of superb facilities for research, which includes a state-of-the-art R&D laboratory, a Centre of Robotics Research and an Image & Video Processing Research Laboratory. The laboratories are open 24x7 to facilitate uninterrupted research work.Students are motivated and encouraged to take up internships in prestigious institutes and companies. Several workshops and seminars are organized by the department. Domain experts from various industries and colleges across the country interact with the students and faculty. These workshops help the faculty and students keep themselves updated with technology, trends and challenges in the work place.
Eligibility
Admission to M.Tech course shall be open to candidates who have passed the prescribed qualifying examination (B. E./B.Tech) as specified in ANNEXURE with not less than 50% marks in aggregate of all the all the semesters/years of the degree examination. (Cumulative sum of secured marks of all the semesters/ years divided by the sum of maximum marks). However, in case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Category-1, aggregate marks shall not be less than 45%.
