Course
Data science is a multi-disciplinary field that uses scientific methods, processes, algorithms and systems to extract knowledge and the insights from structured and unstructured data. Data Science is a current industry demand, lion’s share of companies are adapting to use Data Science techniques to get insight into their day-to-day operations. This brings an array of opportunities for young engineering graduates.
Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Data Science starting from August 2019 at NMIT is first of its kind under Visvesvaraya Technological University. The program consists of four semesters. During the first two semesters students undergo in-campus teaching and learning and the last two semesters students undergo internships at the reputed industry/institute.
Eligibility
AICTE recognized Bachelor of Engineering (B. E.)/ Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech.) in the following disciplines (with min 60% marks).
