M.D.S. Pediatric Dentistry or Master of Dental Surgery in Pediatric Dentistry is three years post graduate programme. The course focuses on pediatric/adolescent growth and development, disease causality and prevention, child psychology and management, and all aspects of the highly-specialized Pediatric restorative techniques and modalities. The course helps to advise and counsel parents, treat dental injuries like chipped teeth, cavities, gum disease and other infections in the mouth. “Most importantly, a pediatric dentist teaches children dental care.
