Bachelor of Vocation (B Voc) is a full- fledged Degree program approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and recognized by Universities all over India and abroad. This course aims at allowing an individual to acquire skills for a particular trade.The course deals with application based studies rather than depending on theoretical knowledge completely.It specializes in providing practical training, and hence is regarded as a skill development degree.The candidates pursuing B.Voc Course have all the privileges of other Degree programmes (BA, B.Com, B.Sc., B.E or MBBS) like going for Post Graduation, taking UPSC, Bank, Railways exam etc., where a basic Degree is a requirement.

Duration
Bachelor of Vocation is a 3-year (6 semester) undergraduate course available for pursuance by students hailing from several different fields.
Eligibility
- The eligibility condition for admission to B.Voc. programmes shall be 10+2 or equivalent, in any stream.
- Student who leaves the course with Diploma award, can readmit in the II Year for Advanced Diploma in the same Course.
- Students obtaining Diploma (NSQF Level 5) and Advance Diploma (NSQF Level 6) from Community Colleges are eligible for admission into 2nd and 3rd year of B.Voc. Degree programmes respectively.
Advantage of this programme :
It is industry and work integrated course with an exit option in between the 3 years course by taking a Diploma or Advanced Diploma degree. The course consists of 60% vocational training and 40% of general education. B.Voc. course is financially aided by the University Grant Commission (UGC).
