Course
M.Sc. Chemistry is a career-oriented postgraduate course which comprises a broad variety of modules in chemistry from among which students can choose to specialize in any. Chemistry is the science of matter and the changes effected by it. The science of matter is also a part of the discipline of Physics, but while Physics is more practical and applies a fundamental approach, Chemistry is more specialized and is concerned with the composition, behaviour, structure, and properties of matter. It is also about the changes matter undergoes during chemical reactions.

Duration
M.Sc. Chemistry is a full time 2 year, 4 semesters master degree programme.
Eligibility
A candidate must have secured 40% marks. In the aggregate and Studied Chemistry (cognate subject) securing 50% marks in this subject at the B.Sc., level and studied Mathematics at 10 + 2 or Pre-university level.
