Course
Diploma in Radio Imaging Technology is a diploma level program offered by North East Frontier Technical University (NEFTU) West Siang. The program which focuses towards the basic understanding of different aspects of radio diagnostic technology and medical imaging techniques. Students will taught the training about the use of radiographic equipment, learn how to position patients to get the best images and learn to critique images. Students will develop knowledge and skills such as anatomy and physiology, examination techniques, patient care, professionalism, radiation safety and protection and x-ray equipment.Radiography is concerned with operating radio imaging machines such as X-ray and interpreting results. It includes the treatment of cancers and tumors with radiation. There is a lots of career opportunities for radiographers inside India as well as internationally.
