Diploma in X-Ray Lab Technician is a diploma level program offered by North East Frontier Technical University (NEFTU) West Siang. X-Ray technicians, also called as radiologic technicians, produce x-ray images of various parts of the body. They introduce non-radioactive substances into the bloodstream of patients to aid in the diagnosis of specific conditions.This is a radiographic course that deals with electromagnetic radiations that penetrates into the human body and creates the image of the internal structure in the photographic film. That is used by doctors to understand the problem and treat them. This course covers both the clinical and administrative skills.The course helps in developing the knowledge and skills that the candidates need to perform laboratory tests, general radiography and electrocardiograms. This diploma course offers classroom instructions and hands – on laboratory and clinical experience, X – Ray procedure, medical Insurance and coding, patient billing, etc.
