Master of Science in Biochemistry is a postgraduate program offered by North East Frontier Technical University West Siang. Biochemistry mainly aims to provide an understanding of the structure and functioning of living things.It deals with the structures and functions of cellular components such as lipids, carbohydrates, proteins, nucleic acids etc. The main aim of pursuing a M.Sc in Biochemistry is to understand each and every aspect of living organisms at the molecular level and to use the knowledge to benefit mankind.This course deals with genetic engineering, bioinformatics, and molecular biology.This program fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills to prepare candidates for dynamic environments and challenges.The main focus of this course is to train candidates for the emerging field of biochemistry.Students take up M.Sc Biochemistry in order to better understand the chemical processes which deal with living organisms.
