Course
Ph.D. Electrical Engineering is a research-based course offered by North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology. The course syllabus includes disciplines like Semiconductors and Diodes, Electric Machines, Electric Circuits, etc. The course also deals with Electromagnetism and Electromagnetic devices, Generators, and Motors, etc. The course will help the students to design new electric circuits so that better working quality gadgets can be used. The students will work with Transistors, Capacitors, Semiconductors, Resistors, Inductors,etc.The research program will help students to gain experience while performing research. The Ph.D. program will help students to find out new things, to perform experiments, data reporting,and learn from mistakes. During the course of study, the student will be able to work on electronic projects include working on Cell Phones, Computers, Motor Generators, AC and DC Machines, Robots, etc.The career options of Electrical Engineering students are very huge as their demand in India from Construction to Corporate companies and industries are also increasing. The candidates can seek jobs in both the public and private sectors. Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited, Power Grid Corporation of India, Reliance Power Limited need electrical engineers. The students can go for teaching jobs for the position of Professors/Lecturers.

Eligibility : The candidates with M.Tech Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university
