Course
Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology is a diploma program offered by NSS Institute of Paramedical Sciences Bangalore. The course equips the students to assist in setting up,operating the operation theatre equipment, assisting in administering anaesthesia, and other operation theatre procedures.NSS Institute of Paramedical Sciences is approved by Para Medical Board (PMB).Para Medical Board (PMB) curriculum covers theory and clinical training in Anatomy,Physiology & Biochemistry, English, Computer, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology,Principles and practices of surgery, Sterilization, Disinfection and waste disposal,Basics of Anaesthesia & CPR, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Orthopaedic Surgery,Urology, Paediatric Surgery, CTVS, Plastic Surgery, Neuro Surgery, Ophthalmology,ENT, Equipment's Know-how and maintenance of OT Tables, OT Lights, Diathermy,Sucker Machine etc., Special Surgeries- Common Operations & Laying of Instrument Trolleys. After the course, NSS Institute of Paramedical Sciences students can work as Operation Theatre Technologist, Anaesthesia Technologist, Operation Theatre Technician, Anaesthesia Technician, Lab Technician, Instructor, Associate Consultant in Operation Theatre and Emergency ward of Hospitals, Clinics, Healthcare Institutes, Trauma & Emergency Care Centers, Laboratories.
