Course
General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a Diploma Programme offered by Our Lady of Health School & College of Nursing Thanjavur. General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three & half year diploma course (including six months internship). The course prepares the students to become professionally trained nurses/midwives in the healthcare sector. Candidates should have completed their 12th board exam to apply for this course. The curriculum of GNM covers general health care, nursing and midwifery. The candidates are classroom educated and clinically trained in care-taking and nursing the patients. They can pursue their careers in hospitals, clinics, community health care, government or private health as nurses.

Eligibility
- 10+2 passed / pre-degree course/HSC/VHSC or its equivalent qualifications. Students from Science discipline with aggregate of 45 % marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology are preferable.
