Course
B.E. Electrical and Electronic Engineering is under -graduation degree course. The main objective of this course is to make the students more productive and professionally more innovative in the field of electronics and electrical industry. Programs include classroom, laboratory, and field studies. Electrical Engineering covers various energy efficient power grids to design the electrical systems powering our lives and range of research areas from devices (such as lasers and robotics) to systems (such as computer architecture and the human brain).
Electronic engineering is an electrical engineering discipline which utilizes nonlinear and active electrical components to design electronic circuits, devices, integrated circuits and their systems. The discipline typically also designs passive electrical components, usually based on printed circuit boards.
Electrical and Electronics Engineering branch started in the year 2013 with an intake of 60 students to add feather to the already existing 5 branches. Being one of the core and evergreen branches of engineering studies, it is widely accepted by the student community in the region and around the country. Presently, the department offers only under graduate (UG) programmes. The department under the visionary guidance of management has state of the art laboratory facilities as per the VTU and AICTE norms. A well experienced and qualified faculty are the strength of our department who are available round the corner to guide the students to achieve their goals, to motivate them to enhance their ambitions and to counsel them when they are emotionally down.Duration : 4 Years
Eligibility : The candidate shall have passed the Second year Pre-University of XII std or equivalent examinations held preceding the entrance test with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Electronics and has secured not less than 45% of the aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the languages of the study. 40% marks in case of Karnataka candidates who belong to SC, ST and OBC.
