B.E. Information Science and Engineering is an Under-Graduation course.Information science focuses on understanding problems from the perspective of the stakeholders involved and then applying information and other technologies as needed. In other words, it tackles systemic problems first rather than individual pieces of technology within that system.It also throws light on how to analyse and interpret the raw data. It is an academic field which is primarily concerned with analysis, collection, classification, manipulation, storage, retrieval, movement, dissemination, and protection of information.

Information science is one of the important branches of PESCE, Mandya. The Department of Information science and Engineering takes pride in producing quality engineers over the past 19 years. The credit for all the flowery results goes to the highly motivating staff, from which all students draw inspiration.
Duration : 4 Years
Eligibility : Candidates who have passed in 10+2 Examination are eligible with 45% marks in aggregate with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology, are eligible.
