Course
The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (BAMS) course is a medicinal bachelors program offered by Prasanna College of Ayurveda and Hospital Belthangady . The program combines traditional Ayurveda with modern medicine and gives extensive practical training in both fields. A BAMS graduate would be a fully competent physician and surgeon. Prasanna College of Ayurveda and Hospital is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science (RGUHS) Bangalore. Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science syllabus includes practical training and classroom training in Ayurvedic Philosophy, Ayurvedic History, Anatomy, Physiology, Toxicology, General Surgery & Para Surgical Techniques, Panchkarma, one-year internship. The course completed Prasanna College of Ayurveda and Hospital graduates can practice as Ayurvedacharya, Ayurvedic Doctor, Ayurvedic Practitioner, Public Health Specialist, Lecturer, Researcher in various ayurvedic hospitals, clinics, health resorts, medical colleges and universities.
