Course
M.Tech. VLSI Design & Embedded System is postgraduate VLSI Design course. The Course will cover devices & circuit concepts in VLSI Design with related VLSI tools and hardware ,micro controller, embedded system, DSP processor and its applications. VLSI Design & embedded system groups is to address the research, development and design problems and advance their solutions in VLSI circuits for embedded system and ubiquitous computing applications. The areas are embedded system design, power electronics, wireless networks, signal processing, biomedical electronics, electronics instrumentation , and audio and speech processing. The program curriculum is aimed at VLSI system design covering algorithms, hardware description language , system architectures, physical designs, verification techniques, Simulation & Synthetic , Low power design techniques and mixed mode design methodologies. The course also offers strong knowledge in the embedded systems design by covering thrust area such as advanced embedded micro controllers, real time embedded systems, advanced embedded systems design and system on a chip

Eligibility
Minimum 60% Marks in B.Tech. Biotechnology or M.Sc. Biotechnology/Microbiology/Bio-Chemistry/Genetics/Botany/Zoology or M.Sc. Bio science from a recognized university or equivalent examination
