Course
MD Anaesthesiology is a post-graduate program of Medicine offered at Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre Thiruvalla. It is the branch of medicine dealing with minimizing pain and administering anaesthesia during surgery and other medical procedures. The students administer anaesthesia medicine and closely monitor the patient. Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences Thrissur. Kerala University of Health Sciences syllabus covers theory & practical in ambulatory anaesthesia, cardiothoracic anesthesiology, pediatric anesthesiology, neuro anaesthesia, obstetrical anesthesiology and pain management. After graduation, the students can work in the anaesthesia department of different hospitals, clinics or teach in medical colleges or universities.
