This Department was started in the year 2015 to offer UG program in Aerospace Engineering with an approved intake of 60. Imparting quality education in Aerospace Engineering with emphasis on research, sustainability technologies and entrepreneurship for societal symbiosis has been the primary motive behind starting this new program. The Department's main objective is to create expertise in specialized areas in aerospace engineering such as aerospace structural design, Aerodynamics, propulsion systems & control systems with focus on research and innovation.
B.E. in Aerospace Engineering is an undergraduate course.Aerospace engineering is the primary field of engineering concerned with the development of aircraft and spacecraft. It has two major and overlapping branches: aeronautical engineering and astronautical engineering. Avionics engineering is similar, but deals with the electronics side of aerospace engineering.
Eligibility
- 10th Std: Min 70% in Science & Mathematics subjects separately.
- 11th Std: Min. 65% in Physics & Mathematics subjects separately.
- If 12th Std. results are announced: Min. 60% in Physics & Mathematics subjects separately.
- Candidates should compulsory appear in either CET 2020/COMEDK 2020 / JEE 2020 / Any other National Entrance Test for Professional Programs.
