Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is a doctorate level program.Information science focuses on understanding problems from the perspective of the stakeholders involved and then applying information and other technologies as needed. In other words, it tackles systemic problems first rather than individual pieces of technology within that system.It also throws light on how to analyse and interpret the raw data.
Eligibility
Working professionals, faculty and others with a postgraduate qualification in the related discipline and in exceptional cases, Professionals with B.E. are eligible to apply for a Ph.D.
