Course
M.Tech. in Computer Applications and Industrial Drives is a postgraduate program.Computer Application to Industrial Drive allows to learn about the programmable logic controllerused to automate production and processes. This course helps to learn unique application of ICT in business processes such as design, engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, physical distribution, production management and supply chain management.
Computer Applications in Industrial Drives uses computer interfaces to make efficient and environmental friendly application. As the modern control system applications are totally interfaced with the industrial drives, hence the man machine interface is an important role in these applications. As most of the heavy applications like the conveyor belts, the cranes, the overload and under load effective handling of the weights and loads done by the industrial control using the computer applications, which can perform most of the tasks with minimum time delay efficiently.
Eligibility
MSRIT offers the M.Tech programs for which candidates with a B.E/B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate are eligible. The minimum aggregate marks required are 45% in case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST & Category-l. [Entrance Exam: GATE Qualified or PGCET of Karnataka]
