Course
M.Tech. in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems is a postgraduate program. The program curriculum includes VLSI Design, Advanced VLSI Design, Hardware description languages, Analog & Mixed mode Design, VLSI Algorithms, Advanced Embedded Systems, CMOS RF Circuit Design, and other electives prescribed by the university. The program has well-qualified and committed faculty to cater to the needs of the students. Department’s faculty members are involved in research encompassing a broad spectrum of expertise in the areas of VLSI, DSP, Image processing, wireless sensor networks, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. Faculty members have rich academic experience and wide industrial and R and D exposure, which help them in bridging the gap between institute and industry.
Eligibility
MSRIT offers the M.Tech programs for which candidates with a B.E/B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate are eligible. The minimum aggregate marks required are 45% in case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST & Category-l. [Entrance Exam: GATE Qualified or PGCET of Karnataka]
