Principal, RNSFGC.
A dream of many ideas coming together with great passion and an opportunity ceased is how RNS First Grade College was born. A lot has been done and much more is desired to take it to higher trajectory of growth.
Acknowledging the close relationship between habit and habitat of the college tries to provide a clean and refreshing environment in which young students from diverse background may interact and develop into well-informed, socially aware, mature and responsible citizen of the country.
The entire purpose of education is not to restrict itself to impart bookish knowledge only but inculcate humanitarian values like wisdom ,compassion ,courage, integrity and reliability in a student. Over the years RNS FGC is able to create an enabling environment for learning and development where future managers and fostered organically.Our endeavor is to combine the excellence of academics with real life projects and skills so that our student not only get an outstanding learning experience, but can apply their knowledge to solving the business problems and crafting innovative business strategies to meet the dynamics of the industry and market. The faculty at RNS FGC routinely "go the extra miles" to meet the needs of students.A challenging academic program, and individual attention for our students, combined with many extra-curricular opportunities, are all part of the RNS experience.

Admission Guidelines
Eligibility for Admission
1. A Candidate seeking admission should have;
(a) Passed the two year Pre-University examination or equivalent as recognised by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, with science subjects, viz., Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
(b) Obtained at least forty-five percent of the total marks in science subjects of the qualifying examination; if belonging to SCIST, should have obtained not less than forty percent of the total marks in science subjects of the qualifying examination.
(c) Completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete this age on or before 31 st December of the year of admission
(d) Candidates who have passed VHSC with Physics, Chemistry, Biology securing 45% marks are also eligible.
How to Apply
A request for the prospectus and application form should be made to the Managing Trustee, R.N.S. Nursing College, Murudeshwar along with a D.O. for Rupees 300/- drawn in favour of the Managing Trustee, R.N. Shetty Trust, payable at Syndicate Bank, Murudeshwar or SBI, Bhatkal. The duly filled - up application along with the necessary documents should be sent with a crossed D.D of Rs. 300/- payable to the Managing Truste, R.N.Shetty Trust. The registration fees once paid will not be refunded.
The following documents duly attested should be enclosed with the application:
a) One photocopy of the statement of marks of the qualifying examination(10+2).
b) One photocopy of the S.S.L.C certificate showing the date of birth.
c) Two latest passport size photos, one affixed to the application form and one extra.
d) One photocopy of SC/ST certificate duly certified, if applicable.
e) Conduct certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.
f) Medical fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner.
g) Registration fee of Rs. 300/- by Demand Draft.
General Information
1. The Candidate shall bear all the expenses in connection with the selection. They will have to make their own arrangement for accommodation during the interview.
2. The provisionally selected candidates after the interview, will be intimated about the college office at the time of paying the fees.
3. Selection / intimation letter is to be surrendered to the college office at the time of paying the fees.
4. Admission secured on the basis of false information furnished shall stand cancelled and the fees paid forfeited.
5. All communications with office in connection with the application can be entertained only when the application number is quoted. All communications from the college will be made only if a self addressed stamped envelope is enclosed.
6. Selection notification will intimate the date of commencement of classes. Candidates remaining absent for the first three consecutive days without prior permission shall forfeit their admissionas well as fees.
7. Admission granted is provisional subject to :
a) The payment of all fees payable to the institution.
b) Submission of Eligibility Certificate from the Rajiv Gandhi University in case of Non Karnataka students.
c) Submission of all certificates and testimonials in original as per requirement.
d) Medical fitness Certificate.
8. The annual tution fees should be paid during the commencement of the respective year.
Note:
The original certificates submitted for admission will be retained by the college until successful completion of the course and returned after settlement of all dues. Fees towards eligibility and registration / admission approval payable to RGUHS will be extra.
