Course
The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was started in the year 2004 with a sanctioned intake of 60 students. The department conducts workshops, seminars, conferences and invited lectures to keep the students and staff updated with the latest developments. The department also invites projects from industries to be implemented by the students of the college. The students have been well trained and with the support of the placement cell, have succeeded in being placed in top companies.
B.E. Electrical and Electronic Engineering is under -graduation degree course. The main objective of this course is to make the students more productive and professionally more innovative in the field of electronics and electrical industry. Programs include classroom, laboratory, and field studies. Electrical Engineering covers various energy efficient power grids to design the electrical systems powering our lives and range of research areas from devices (such as lasers and robotics) to systems (such as computer architecture and the human brain).Electronic engineering is an electrical engineering discipline which utilizes nonlinear and active electrical components to design electronic circuits, devices, integrated circuits and their systems. The discipline typically also designs passive electrical components, usually based on printed circuit boards.
Eligibility
Candidates who have passed in 10+2 Examination are eligible with 45% marks in aggregate with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology, are eligible.
