Course
Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology is an undergraduate program offered by S B College of Hospital Administration Bangalore. B.Sc. MLT is a three-year degree course started to aid the health care industry. In this course, students learn to test, diagnose and help doctors in solving medical cases. S B College of Hospital Administration is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science (RGUHS) Bangalore. They collect body fluids samples of sick patient and conduct lab tests and helps in diagnosing the medical problem. The applicant must have passed 12th in science stream to apply for this course. They should also possess good analytical and research skills. The syllabus covers subjects like Human Physiology and anatomy, medical biochemistry, medical microbiology, computer application in lab, histopathology, haematology, bacteriology, immunology, mycology and virology. After completing Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science (RGUHS) the course and internship, S B College of Hospital Administration, the students can work as a lab technician, lab manager, professor, biochemist, medical phlebotomist etc.
