Course
B.Sc in Cardiac Technology is a degree course offered by Sapthagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre Bengaluru. The program aims to provide qualified technicians to assist the cardiologist in diagnosing, monitoring, treating and educating heart patients and the family. The course teaches them to help the doctor during invasive cardiovascular testing, train in inserting catheters and using pacemakers, using and maintaining other related medical equipment, test patients for heart-related issues, invasive emergency procedures, practical & theoretical training in cardiac-related procedures and applying basic & advanced life support skills. Course completed students can work as a cardiovascular technologist, a cardiovascular technician in the cardiac department of hospitals and other health care institutes.
Duration : 3 Years + 1 Year Internship
Eligibility : The candidates must have pass Higher Secondary (10+2) from a recognized board
