President of Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Educational Society, Karnataka, Dr. D. Veerendra Heggadeji foresaw the growing importance of this field more than a decade back. He founded S.D.M. College of Physiotherapy at Dharwad under the auspices of SDME Society in the year 1996.The College is situated in picturesque campus of SDM Medical College & Hospital along the main drive between Dharwad and Hubli cities.
