Course
Construction Engineering is a part of the discipline of Civil Engineering and involves the concepts of the designing and planning processes of a building or such architecture. It consists of processes like construction and management of infrastructures, such as roads, dams, tunnels, bridges, airports, railroads, footpaths, buildings, public sanitation, utilities, and other such projects.
As real estate business on full boom so is civil engineers in great demand so as for new constructions and to maintain and repair current facilities. This boom has created a lot of career opportunities throughout India. After completion, graduates can look for employment in consultancy firms, quality testing labs, road projects and building work or open their own independent consultancy services. They can also opt for research work or opt for teaching jobs in universities and colleges. Civil engineers can be engaged in all important building plans carried out by the private construction firms, railways projects, military, engineering services, state or central government and consultancy services. The Middle East holds a good opportunity where civil engineers can make their dreams come true as a lot of construction projects are taking place there. Above all, our students acquire a broad set of technical skills as well as business, communication and management knowledge in order to successfully enter the construction management field.

Eligibility : Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Civil Engineering/Transportation Engineering/ Construction Technology & Management AMIE in appropriate branch. GATE: CE
