The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) course is a medicinal bachelors program offered by Shri Jagadguru Gavisiddeshwara Ayurvedic Medical College Koppal. Shri Jagadguru Gavisiddeshwara Ayurvedic Medical College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science (RGUHS) Bangalore. Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science syllabus includes practical training and classroom training in Ayurvedic Philosophy, Ayurvedic History, Anatomy, Physiology, Toxicology, General Surgery & Para Surgical Techniques, Panchkarma, one-year internship. The course completed Shri Jagadguru Gavisiddeshwara Ayurvedic Medical College graduates can practice as Ayurvedacharya, Ayurvedic Doctor, Ayurvedic Practitioner, Public Health Specialist, Lecturer, Researcher in various ayurvedic hospitals, clinics, health resorts, medical colleges and universities.
