Shri Kalidasa Education Society Ayurveda College at Badami, . The Chairman of this Institution is His Shri B. B. Chimmankatti. Shri B. B. Chimmankatti is widely known for his spiritual knowledge and activities, highly disciplined and simple way of living. His deep involvement in social, welfare, and educational vedic studies and promotion of brotherhood and tranquility among all sections of the society is well known. After establishing with grat foresight Institutions like the higher education in traditional Vedic studies, in-order to create strong and healthy society, sought to establish a full fledged Ayurvedic Institution which is complete with all eight folds of Ayurveda (Ashtanga Ayurveda). Shri B. B. Chimmankatti started Kalidasa Ayurvedic College in the District, that too in the rural outskirts of the town). With the active co-operation of the local eminent persons it is now running with all the requirements as a well established Institution.“AYURVEDA” is not just a medicinal system but it is ‘AN ART OF LIVING’, Life can be both a boon and a curse. A boon to those who use it for constructive purposes and a curse to those who throw it away for destructive purposes.Man is a nature’s being. But he forgets that and tries sometimes to destroy his own shelter by his unnatural ego. This mismatching of colours is rearranged in GRAHA CHIKITSA. Colour life includes beautiful and healthy sense organs. Such sense organs are rooted in the body aqbove the clavicle. The protection of health and prevention of diseases (expressing in five colours) of this part is termed OORDHWANGA CHIKITSA.The intrinsic Synchrony of nature gets disturbed by the instruction of unrelated and harmful components. The art of eliminating these components skillfully is SHALYATANTRA. Man shares his environment with other animals too. They at times happen to harm the human life and turn toxic.
