The department was started in the year 2006. The present intake of undergraduate program is 60 students. The department is equipped with all necessary laboratory and infrastructure facilities. Keeping in view the vision of the institute, the department of ISE is untiringly working to achieve excellence in various aspects such as: student’s performance, effective teacher-student relationship, imparting quality education to students and imbibing good human qualities in students.
B.E. Information Science and Engineering is an Under-Graduation course.Information science focuses on understanding problems from the perspective of the stakeholders involved and then applying information and other technologies as needed. In other words, it tackles systemic problems first rather than individual pieces of technology within that system.It also throws light on how to analyse and interpret the raw data. It is an academic field which is primarily concerned with analysis, collection, classification, manipulation, storage, retrieval, movement, dissemination, and protection of information.
