About Us
Sree Narayana Trusts Arts and Science Aided College Pambanar, named after the social reformer Sree Narayana Guru, is a blossoming centre of higher education in Idukki district, Kerala.The college, affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, was established by Sree Narayana Trusts and formally started functioning on 18th July 2016 with 48 students. Prof. Sanalkumar. T was the first principal of this college which began with 5 members in the teaching staff and 2 members in the non-teaching staff – P Chandra babu – Senior superintendent,SN College Shivagiri Varkala (Retired), R Ajayakumar – Head accountant, Sree Narayana College for Women , Kollam (Retired). For its humble beginnings, the college has made steady steps forward and currently the college offers 3 Undergraduate courses with 3 Departments: English, Mathematics and Commerce. Now, it has staff strength of 15 in total, also the student community has flourished to more than 300 students. The college is still in growth under Prof. Sanuj C. Breezevilla as the new principal.The college motto is Progress through Education, the college tries to uphold spiritual and moral growth together with intellectual progress. It is expected that when a student leaves the doorway of S.N.T.C he/she will have become “Life’s Star”—what Gurudeva visualized as the ideal educated being, one who combines in Grace, Love and Mercy.Quick Contact
