Clinical medicine is very common form of medicine, where it represents the general clinician responsibilities towards patients. The ways of treatment and understanding patient’s problems is very important to understand the disease. Thus clinical medicine has an important role in diagnosis process. Clinical medicine deals with body basics and human anatomy relating problems in human parts is the major concept. Patient with any basic issues visits the primary health clinic for clinical medicine. Preliminary concept of clinical medicine is having a vital role in general health research. General diagnosis is very important in clinical medicine, which preliminarily includes examining patient.
Duration
Duration of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Medicine is a 3 year doctoral programme.
Eligibility
Master of science in related discipline from faculty of Medicine with 55% in aggregate from a recognized University on regular basis.
Ph.D Entrance Examination
The Entrance Examination shall be conducted at the Centre(s) notified in advance. The syllabus of the Entrance Test shall consist of 50% of Research methodology and 50% shall be subject specific. The related syllabus shall be notified in advance in the website. The marks at the qualifying examination shall be 50%. Maximum weightage (70%) shall be given to the written test and 30% to the interview.
