Master of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology (M.Sc. MLT) Haematology and Blood Transfusion
Course
Hematology is the science or study of blood, blood-forming organs and blood diseases. In the medical field, hematology includes the treatment of blood disorders and malignancies, including types of hemophilia, leukemia, lymphoma and sickle-cell anemia.
Duration
The Duration Of The Course Shall Be On Full Time Basis For A Period Of 2 Years From The Commencement Of The Academic Term.
Eligibility
- A pass in B.Sc MLT course from institutions affiliated to RGUHS, or from other Universities.
- A candidate who has completed B.Sc. in Clinical Biochemistry/Medical Biochemistry or B.Sc in Clinical Microbiology/Medical Microbiology are eligible to join for M.Sc MLT in Clinical Biochemistry or M.Sc MLT in Microbiology and Immunology respectively.
- Candidates passing B.Sc MLT through correspondence course shall not be eligible.
Selection Criteria
Selection Shall Be Based On Merit In The Qualifying Examination. The Candidate Has To Choose The Branch Of His /Her Choice During The Time Of Seat Selection. No Change Of Branch Will Be Permitted Once He /She Get Admitted.
Medium Of Instruction
English Shall Be The Medium Of Instruction For The Subjects Of Study As Well As For The Examination.
