Course
M.Tech in Biotechnology is a postgraduate programme .Biotechnology is a broad area of biology, involving the use of living systems and organisms to develop or make products. Depending on the tools and applications, it often overlaps with related scientific fields.
The Department of Biotechnology at SJCE provides a full education within the integrated fields of Biotechnology.Our courses span from introductory classes on bachelor level to advanced courses on master level and doctoral programs .An important part of the education is the Master Project which is part of the official research with one of our research groups.
Duration : 2 Years
Eligibility : Open to all students who have passed B.E / B.Tech examination / AMIE(relevant field ) of VTU or any other university/institution. The Candidates need to have passed the prescribed qualifying exam with not less than 50% marks in aggregate of all years of the degree examinations.
