Course:
Master of Arts (M.A) Adult, Continuing Education, and Extension is a PG Programme. Master of Arts (M.A) Adult, Continuing Education, and Extension course offered by Sri Krishnadevaraya University Anantapur. Adult Continuing Education and Extension’ with introduction and conduct of non-credit, non-evaluative short-term courses in areas of personal interest promotion, income generation and skill development. In order to establish a University-community interface the Department has been consistently designing and developing programmes of education and service in the field of Literacy, Science and Sports Journalism, Legal Literacy, Public Interest Litigation, Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy, Human Rights, Life Skills – Health and Hygiene, Volunteer Management, Guidance and Counseling, Travel and Tourism, Rapid Reading, Radio-Broadcasting and English Language Proficiency Course from time to time.
Duration: 2 years
Eligibility:
- The candidate seeking admission into post graduation should have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 40% marks in the concerned subject. For the courses where the admission is based on the degree as a whole, the aggregate percentage of marks in the group subjects should be 40%. For admission into M.Ed., the aggregate marks in B.Ed. should be 50% and in degree/PG should be 45%. Pass is sufficient for SC/ST candidates for admission into any course.
- Candidates who have already passed the qualifying examination or who have appeared / are appearing for the final year annual examination in 2016 are also eligible to apply. Supplementary candidates of 2016 are not eligible.
- The Admission to MA / MSc / MCom / MPEd / MSW / MLISc course is through a University level entrance test called "Sri Krishnadevaraya Univesity Common Entrance Test"(SKUCET), conducted by the Directorate of Admissions, Sri Krishnadevaraya Univesity
- Seats are filled by the Convener of SKUCET based on the ranks secured in SKUCET and as per the rules of reservation in force.
