Course
Master of Arts (M.A) in Political Science is PG Programme. Master of Arts (M.A) offered by Sri Krishnadevaraya University Anantapur. A Master in Political Science is interdisciplinary, intersecting with other subjects and studies, such as National Politics, Public Policy, Economics, Law, Psychology and Sociology. Usually, Political Science is subdivided into three disciplines that deal with different aspects of the vast matter of politics. The highly abstract but very important matters of legal code, justice, rights, and liberty are in the competence of Political Philosophy; whereas the study of International Relations is about bringing order and system into the process of interaction between nations and states, including peace and conflict studies. And last but not least, Comparative Politics is the third subfield of Political Science; it is based upon a practical approach towards the state and government as a systematic matter, for comparison is one of the oldest and most secure methods of research. Master in Political Science programs delve deep into these three subfields, and also allows students to concentrate on a specialized area of interest.

Eligibility :
- The candidate seeking admission into post graduation should have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 40% marks in the concerned subject. For the courses where the admission is based on the degree as a whole, the aggregate percentage of marks in the group subjects should be 40%. For admission into M.Ed., the aggregate marks in B.Ed. should be 50% and in degree/PG should be 45%. Pass is sufficient for SC/ST candidates for admission into any course.
- Candidates who have already passed the qualifying examination or who have appeared / are appearing for the final year annual examination in 2016 are also eligible to apply. Supplementary candidates of 2016 are not eligible.
- The Admission to MA / MSc / MCom / MPEd / MSW / MLISc course is through a University level entrance test called "Sri Krishnadevaraya Univesity Common Entrance Test"(SKUCET), conducted by the Directorate of Admissions, Sri Krishnadevaraya Univesity
- Seats are filled by the Convener of SKUCET based on the ranks secured in SKUCET and as per the rules of reservation in force.
