Course
Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) Chemistry is a Postgraduate programme. Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) Chemistry course offered by Sri Krishnadevaraya University Anantapur. The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) programme in Chemistry is designed primarily for teachers, researchers, industrialists and post graduate students who intend to pursue higher studies in chemistry. The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) programme in Chemistry will be conducted on a credit-based system for the duration of two years, with a six months coursework and research-based project work along with submission of a dissertation. During the course work the scholars have to complete three courses, Foundations of Research, Methods in Research for Science and Research publication. The program aims at enhancing the capacity of scholars and provides a platform for further research.

Eligibility
- The candidate seeking admission into M.Phil., should have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 55% marks in the concerned subject. Relaxation of 5% in marks is provided for SC/ST/Differently-abled candidates for admission into M.Phil courses under SKURESCET
- Candidates who have already passed the qualifying examination or who have appeared for the final semester of the qualifying examination are eligible to apply.
- The Admission to M.Phil., course is through a University level entrance test called "Sri Krishnadevaraya Univesity Research Common Entrance Test"(SKURESCET), conducted by the Directorate of Admissions, Sri Krishnadevaraya Univesity
- Seats are filled by the Convener of SKURESCET based on the ranks secured in SKURESCET and as per the rules of reservation in force.
