Course
Master of Philosophy(M.Phil) in English is a PG Programme. Master of Philosophy(M.Phil) in English Course offered by Sri Krishnadevaraya University Anantapur. The Master of Philosophy in English Studies offered by the Department of English, aims at analysis talent development and data production within the areas of West Germanic, Literatures in English, Literary Criticism, essential theory, Linguistics, the Philosophy of Language, Culture Studies, Theatre Studies, Gender Studies and Literature in Philosophy. The Programme wishes to administer a proper analysis platform for those that have an interest in contributory newer queries and issues associated with English Studies. The M.Phil Programme in English Studies are conducted supported a system od one year and consisting of 2 semesters. The candidate must submit the treatise by the tip of second semester, once the completion of the course work.

Eligibility
- The candidate seeking admission into M.Phil., should have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 55% marks in the concerned subject. Relaxation of 5% in marks is provided for SC/ST/Differently-abled candidates for admission into M.Phil courses under SKURESCET
- Candidates who have already passed the qualifying examination or who have appeared for the final semester of the qualifying examination are eligible to apply.
- The Admission to M.Phil., course is through a University level entrance test called "Sri Krishnadevaraya Univesity Research Common Entrance Test"(SKURESCET), conducted by the Directorate of Admissions, Sri Krishnadevaraya Univesity
- Seats are filled by the Convener of SKURESCET based on the ranks secured in SKURESCET and as per the rules of reservation in force.
