Course
Master of Science (M.Sc.) Geography is a PG Programme. Master of Science (M.Sc.) Geography course offered by Sri Krishnadevaraya University Anantapur. Master of Science in Geography or M.Sc. Geography is a program that teaches a student about the geographical aspects in environment. One learns about the secrets of earth through this course with the help of subjects like Environment and Ecology, Environmental Impact Assessment, Demography and Population Policy, Health and Environment and Society.M.Sc. in Geography aims to teach about the physical and environmental geography, human and regional geography, technical geography and behavioural geography. Geography is the only subjects that brings one closest to earth and can help one to know all the phenomena of earth.
Eligibility
- The candidate seeking admission into post graduation should have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 40% marks in the concerned subject. For the courses where the admission is based on the degree as a whole, the aggregate percentage of marks in the group subjects should be 40%. For admission into M.Ed., the aggregate marks in B.Ed. should be 50% and in degree/PG should be 45%. Pass is sufficient for SC/ST candidates for admission into any course.
- Candidates who have already passed the qualifying examination or who have appeared / are appearing for the final year annual examination in 2016 are also eligible to apply. Supplementary candidates of 2016 are not eligible.
- The Admission to MA / MSc / MCom / MPEd / MSW / MLISc course is through a University level entrance test called "Sri Krishnadevaraya Univesity Common Entrance Test"(SKUCET), conducted by the Directorate of Admissions, Sri Krishnadevaraya Univesity
- Seats are filled by the Convener of SKUCET based on the ranks secured in SKUCET and as per the rules of reservation in force.
