Admission Guidelines
Admission Procedures :
The college has an intake capacity of 60 Students. The students are admitted to B.Ed. course as per the Bangalore University rules and regulations.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Candidates must be citizen of India and should be Karnataka candidates for Government quota of seats. “Karnataka candidates “ means , students who has studied for at least 7 (seven) full academic year in any one of the Government or Government recognized institutions in Karnataka from first standard up to 2nd PUC /12TH Standard or qualifying examination and passed either .S.S.L.C /10TH standard or P.U.C / 12th standard examination in Karnataka . In respect of candidates who have enrolled as private candidates for S.S.L.C/P.U.C or studied in open schools the period of seven years study shall not be insisted. However such candidates shall produce domicile certificate for seven years ( 7) from the Tahasildar of concerned Taluk.
- Candidates who have passed either S.S.L.C or P.U.C either in open or as private candidates shall produce the relevant marks cards or a certificate from the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board / Director of Pre- University Education which certifies that he /she is a private candidate. In respect of candidates who have taken more than one year to pass or standard, the years of academic study is counted as one year only for this purpose.
- Candidates must be graduate with B.A or B.Sc and shall have studied any one of the languages and two of the three electives specified below. Candidate should have studied two of the three electives for all the three years at degree or gradations level. Candidates must have passed in University exam for all the three years at the time of admission shall compulsorily produce three years degree marks cards issued by the University.
For Management Quota Seats : Candidates wishing to take admission through Management quota have the same eligibility criteria.
