MD Anesthesia is a post-graduate program of Medicine offered at St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences Sarjapur. It is the branch of medicine dealing with minimizing pain and administering anesthesia during surgery and other medical procedures. The students administer anesthesia medicine and closely monitor the patient. St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore. Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) syllabus covers theory & practical in ambulatory anesthesia, cardio thoracic anesthesiology, pediatric anesthesiology, neuron anesthesia, obstetrical anesthesiology and pain management. After graduation, the students can work in the anesthesia department of different hospitals, clinics or teach in medical colleges or universities.
