Course
Postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics and gynaecology is a postgraduate diploma level program offered by the T.D. Medical College Alappuzha. Obstetrics and Gynaecology is a clinical training study at surgical administration across clinical pathology relating to female reproductive organs. The study comprises female health care, maternity care and other related diseases of women. T.D. Medical College is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Science Thrissur. Kerala University of Health Science contains a syllabus that includes the subjects such as maternal anatomy and physiology, physiology of pharmacology, obstetrics anaesthesia, nerve supply of female genital tract, sonar and infertility seminar, gynaecology basics, malformations of the female generative organs, adolescence gynaecology, endoscopy in gynaecology, diseases in the urinary system, diseases in vulva, fertility and infertility, endometriosis, cervix diseases, vasectomy, vaginal vault prolapse, gynecologic oncology, surgery of Mullerian ducts, hysterectomy, comprehensive study, and so on. The students who complete this program can have different job profiles, such as Surgeon, Gynaecology consultant, Gynaecology and Oncology specialist, Obstetrician, Family Planning Consultant, Lecturer, Clinic Associate, Senior Infant Health care specialist, Infant care paediatrician, Senior Gynaecology Surgeon.
