B.E Computer Science and Engineering
Course
BE in Computer Science & Engineering is an undergraduate program. Computer science and engineering are now cornerstones of the information society. This course is designed to enable learners for industry, academia, and public service, providing technical leadership by solving significant problems across a broad spectrum. The course is cross-disciplinary, allowing students to learn the language specificities of computer science, explore programming or modelling and design, and all of the other core aspects of the subject, whilst being also trained in industrial ethics and engaging in industry-inspired lab sessions
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) was set up in 1983 with B.E. programme. Since then, the department has grown exponentially over the years on all fronts in terms of infrastructure, courses and faculty. The department has Nine computer centres with around 300 computers equipped with the latest hardware, software and peripherals. A new feather in the cap is the recently established state-of-the-art IBM OpenPower lab which delivers unparalleled performance for analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and modern High-Performance Computer (HiPC). The department hosts campus-wide networking facility with 10 servers (including high-end ones), an Internet laboratory housing 60 computers with a dedicated leased line connectivity of 250 Mbps (wired and wireless) and a well-stocked library.

Eligibility :Passed in 2nd PUC/12th Std / Equivalent Exam with English as one of the languages and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in Aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology/ Electronics/ Computer (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates)
