B.Sc. Computer Science - Electronics, Mathematics, Computer Science (EMCs)
- Computer Science : B.Sc. Computer Science is an undergraduate program which deals with subjects and topics related to computer application and services. It is the study of principles and fundamentals of computers, where the latest technologies and trends are the most important topics. The course empowers students to deal with the technicalities and issues with authorized knowledge of databases and analytical skills.
- Electronics : Bachelor of Science or B.Sc. in Electronics is an undergraduate course which introduces students to the fundamentals of electrical circuits such as transistors, vacuum tubes, integrated circuits and diodes. B.Sc. Electronics is a specialized course for students who wish to learn the fundamentals of electronics. This course prepares a student for challenges in the electronics and communication industry as it demands good analytical and communication skills.
- Mathematics : Mathematics is the study of quantity, structure, space, and change. A Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics is a culmination of in-depth knowledge of geometry, trigonometry, calculus and other theories. It also explores related topics like Computer Science and Statistics. It helps students in building a good foundation base for pursuing higher studies.
Duration
It is a 3 year, 6 semester full time undergraduate degree course, affiliated to Bangalore University, Bangalore and recognized by Govt.of Karnataka.
Specific Objectives of the course are :
- To learn in detail Electronics, Communication System, DSP, micro processing programming and semiconductor technology.
- Students will be engaged in Electronics and Computer Science Projects.
- To understand software development; learn in detail major programming of Computers.
- To learn advanced mathematics, such as numerical analysis, calculas, linear programming, complex analysis.
- Students will be engaged in Electronics & Computer Science projects.
Eligibility criteria
Should have cleared the Pre-University examination of Karnataka, Pre-University Board or an equivalent examination conducted by any other board/ Pre-University or 10+2, equivalent examination should have minimum 35% pass marks aggregate in PCM.
