Course
The course involves an Advanced Study of the Intricacies of Cardiothoracic Surgery. Although the Cardiovascular System is Inextricably linked to Blood, This Course is relatively unconcerned with Hematology and its Diseases.This Course’s Curriculum covers latest Advances in Cardiology Care, Assessment of new Interventional and Medical Heart Failure Therapies, Review of the Most Frequent Life-Threatening Afflictions that can be diagnosed using Electrocardiography, Commonly Misdiagnosed Ailments and Specialization in Treating Heart Diseases Using Catheterization.
Duration: 3 Years
Eligibility
- Post-graduation (MD), completed from an institute recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or any of the State Medical Councils.
- MD needs to have been completed in any of General Medicine and Cardiology.
- A minimum aggregate score of 55% (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the level of post-graduation.1- year compulsory rotating internship.
Admission Process
Generally, in most of the Colleges and Institutes offering the Course, admission is provided based on the Candidate’s Performance in a Relevant Entrance Test, such as NEET PG, conducted at the National Level, followed by a subsequent round of Counseling.
