Course
Haematology is a branch of medicine that deals with the study of blood diseases, blood-forming organs and blood. Haematology includes the study of prevention, prognosis, treatment, diagnosis and etiology of blood diseases. DM in Clinical Haematology is a PG specialty degree awarded in the field of medicine.

Eligibility
- For seeking admission to this super specialty course, candidates must have completed their M.D in any of medical branches like biochemistry, paediatrics, pathology and medicine.
- They should also take up the entrance examination and for applying to the entrance examination in most of the universities, candidates must have secured minimum of 50% of marks in the PG medical course in case he/she belongs to general category and 40% of marks if he/she belongs to reserved category like SC/ST or other backward class.
Admission Process
Based on the merit as determined by the competitive test conducted by the respective state government/competent authority appointed by the state government or by the group of universities/by a single university.On the basis of entrance test conducted at the national level by any centralized authority.Based on the cumulative performance of the individual candidates at the MBBS examination in case the candidate has completed the MBBS course from the same university.
