Course
Vascular Surgery is a surgical specialty that deals with the diseases pertaining to the vascular system or veins and arteries. Under this branch of surgery, diseases in the vascular system are managed through surgical reconstruction, minimally-invasive catheter procedures and medical therapy.This specialty of surgery emerged from the cardiac and general surgery and M. Ch in Vascular Surgery is a surgical course in this discipline, which extends to a period of three years.

Eligibility
- For applying to the M. Ch in Vascular Surgery course, candidates must have completed their MS in general surgery course from an Indian university that is approved by the Medical Council of India and they should also have obtained permanent registration from the medical councils belonging to any state in India.
- Admission process is purely based on the merit and the medical colleges and universities conduct common entrance examination for the candidates.

Selection of candidates to the M. Ch in Vascular Surgery course is done based on their performance in the Common Entrance Test conducted by the committee of selectors constituted by the Directorate of Medical Education &Counseling.
