About Us
Founder: Late Shri A.Senapathi Gounder, M.P. Was the Polar Star Among the people who worked for the uplift of society during his political period. He was Sample, Honest and disciplined politician, and was so popular that he was elected to the State Assembly for four times from 1952 and to the Parliament for four times from 1990 with strong determination. Whole hearted mind and dedication, he founded Sri Ramakrishna Nallammai Trust in Dharapuram and Thiru Ramakrishna Nallammai Polytechnic College was started by the above Trust and Inaugurated by his Excellency, the then Vice President of India Shri. R.VENKATRAMAN, in the year 1984 to fulfill the needs of the students of most backward and rural area in this district. Now the above trust is run and headed by our beloved chairman Thiru. K.S.N. Venugopalu hailing from this reputed family. With the noble idea of imparting Technical Education to the deserving students from downtrodden, irrespective of community and caste, our chairman Thiru. K.S.N. Venugopalu is the following the footprints of his father and founder Late Thiru. A. Senapathy Gounder., M.P. Ayya. He is our inspiration and guide in development of our college and hostel. With his smiling face, he is always kind and courteous to hear our needs in improving the quality of our institution. During his tenure from 2004 to till this time, New Buildings, 2 No new computer centers, Modern equipment for various laboratories, New Cabling System and Control room with 125 KVA Gen Set were provided by his un-tired efforts for the welfare of the students. Within a short period of assuming his Office, he has taken efforts to start one more branch called “Mechanical Engineering (Tool and Die) Branch during 2007-2008.
