Course:
Master of Arts M.A. Malayalam (Cultural Heritage studies) is a PG Programme. Master of Arts M.A. Malayalam (Cultural Heritage studies) course offered by Thunchath Ezhuthachan Malayalam University Malappuram. The course has a comprehensive interdisciplinary approach & analyzes the unique cultural heritage of Kerala. The thrust areas of the course include cultural heritage, Kerala’s history, settlement patterns, cultural geography, linguistic and literary heritage, art heritage, agricultural heritage and knowledge traditions. The course also familiarizes students with institutions of heritage conservations, manuscriptology, archiving and archaeology.
Duration: 2 years
Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s Degree (studied in 10+2+3 system) in any discipline with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate and also in Malayalam from a recognized University. Up to 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates.
