Course
The BSc Accident & Emergency Care Technology is an undergraduate program offered by United College of Medical Sciences Periyanaickenpalayam. The program aims to produce trained medical technicians for the accident & emergency department and ambulance service. The syllabus covers anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, emergency medicine & emergency medical services, English, computers, clinical procedures & instruments of emergency services, patient examination & nursing, pathology, microbiology and pharmacology. The student learns to prioritize and make quick, efficient decisions, use the emergency medical equipment and administer emergency medication to save the life of patients of all age group.
Duration : 3 Year + 1 Year Internship
Eligibility : The candidates must have pass Higher Secondary or its equivalent from a recognized board
